VLAN's and Spanning Tree

Hi

Does any 1 know how many instances of spanning tree is supported on the 4000
and 6500 series switches.I found docs that say the 2900's only support 68
vlans and 68 instances of STP and 3500 support 254 vlans and 68 instances of
STP but I cant find a definite number for the 4000 and 6500's I only get
docs that say they support pvst.

All help appreciated
