It is for the out going routes (generated on in the box) ... i was talking
about the routes that are in coming and applying distance to them.......
this is not possible in OSPF so u have to talk to the other command. and
apply the distance to either external ,inter-area , intra-area.
i wasted a hell lot of time to judge this behaviour....
I wanted to increase distance of a particular route that is coming but i was
not able to ... yes it allows me to change the
distance of whole routes that are in the routing table but not a single
one....
try it ur self... let me know if i am wrong
