interesting question (Global Knowledge ACPC 2 - Prep Lab 1 - 1.2f):

f) on R6 configure its serial 1 interface to be in the UP/UP state even
though its not connected.

this is easy with an ethernet (no keep) - but what's the trick for a
serial?

please let me know if you do.
