Authentication keys are available for Director Response Protocol (DRP)
Agent, IP Enhanced IGRP, and RIP Version 2.
I don't think that this has changed.

Subject: OSPF authentication
All,
I have a simple question:
Is it possible to use key-chains for OSPF authentication,
or those are avalable only for RIP2 and EIGRP?
Thanks,
Przemek.
Ps. In Doyle, in OSPF chapter in paragraph about authentication,
there is just simple reference to Chapter 7 (RIPv2) where
authentication was first introduced in a book.
