Jim,

After all the recent discussion about redistribution on the list, I did some
quick testing
to verify what I thought I knew. The result was, as a general rule, routes
will be
redistributed from a particular routing protocol if 1) they have been added
to the local
routing table as being sourced from that routing protocol, or 2) if they are
valid, present
in the internal database for the protocol in question, and directly
connected.

This is without any other issues present - such as VLSM to FLSM restrictions.
