If all you are looking for is telnet access to your console then I would not
waste any money on a Cisco 2511. I purchased a 16 port AWAN terminal sever
from e-bay for around $65.00. I can now telnet to the console of any router
or telnet to the terminal server and connect to the port. A friend of mine
also studying for CCIE purchased a 16 port Lantronix terminal server for
under 100.00
If you want a good inexpensive terminal server for router access check e-bay
for them and skip the 4 or 500 you would shell out for a cisco product.
