CCIE Lab - Thoughts after test today

Well, I just finished about an hour ago.

First, my lab was very doable.

It did come down to time, but only because I spent the last 2 hours on
unseen gotcha's/rare configs.

About my weak area's - some were slightly tested - no problem, others got a
work over..lost some points there..

Didn't ask the proctors any questions, but everybody else asked several
each. The only things I would have asked are the things I didn't know...so
are they going to give me the answer??

Tried using the Doc CD for a couple of things, but didn't find anything
helpful. No internet access allowed.

All in all, I would say that the lab is easy if you know your stuff. It's
just that knowing your stuff means memorizing all the subject areas and then
learning all the tricks when you mix it all together. And you don't know
what is going to mixed together until you open your CCIE lab book.

TOO Much Stuff.

Well, worst case scenario, I know what things to hit hard in the next month
before I take it again. I had a couple of fringe things I glanced over when
I was studying, now I wish I would have spent some time on them.

I figure I'll get somewhere between 70-8? points. Just have to wait until I
receive the email and check my score.

Thanks for the ear,
Scott
