Yeah, I know... That's what I've done... On the subinterface, it is no
longer an option as it is on the physical interface. Here is similar output
from a 3640 here at the office, but it's the same for the 2620:
Router(config)#int fa 0/0
Router(config-if)#ip address ?
A.B.C.D IP address
dhcp IP Address negotiated via DHCP
Router(config-if)#int fa 0/0.14
Router(config-subif)#ip address ?
A.B.C.D IP address
Router(config-subif)#ip address
The 2620 is running a really recent version of 12.2 software, but I was
wondering if anyone know whether this is functionality may be introduced
down the road...
