I think it is due to the price difference:

$600+ for the CCIE BOOTCAMP vs. $50 for the book

However, the CCIEBOOTCAMP labs are pretty good and also pretty
extensive. I hear some of them use 9 and 10 routers. If you have this
much gear plus a 1010, 5500, 3920, those labs are good... but if you can
buy a book for 50 bucks and use 3 or four routers... guess which one
will become very popular very quickly.

This is an unbiased observation since I have neither the Solie book, nor
the BOOTCAMP labs :-)) I am basically doing my own scenarios from a
SLATTERY/BURTON book (did I get that right?) and the now famous Caslow
books. Doyle and Halabi with a lot of stuff coming from the DOCUMENT CD.
