Hi,
I've tried that and works with a roll-over cable (cisco console cable). You
have to create the async interface with the number os line for the aux shown
in the show line command. I think it is automatically created when you enter
the command modem inout in the line.
After those commands and some more that you can find at cco
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/793/access_dial/auxback.html and
successfull ping when cofiguring the physical interface as Legacy-DDR, the I
tried to use Dialer and never worked. Never apperared the dialer bind to the
physical interface when pinging as before with debug dialer enabled.
Tell me if you succed.
Good luck
Jose Angel

Asunto: AUX to AUX Dialer - as ISDN
Hi,
It's probably been discussed many times already but not easily found in
the archives.
I'm looking for the best configuration or paper that will show how to
simulate ISDN callout as near as possible over an AUX to AUX connection
- I understand with a straight through cable. If possible, it will
allow you work up through layers 2 and 3.
Many thanks.
Carl.
