It requires an NM-1V or NM-2V to be used on a 2600. The 1720 and 1750 have
a VIC or VWIC slot that can accept them though.

Subject: Question on VIC-2FXS for 2600/3600 series routers
Folks,
I'm trying to do some basic VOIP labs. Before I run out and buy all the
VOIP gears, I have a few questions:
1) Can VIC-2FXS modules be inserted into a WIC slots on a 2600
series router? Or it requires a NM-2V?
2) That's all I can think of now. If you have tips, please send
them over. Thanks.
