Playing with async to async devices over a WAN. On the HP host side is 4800
async that sends out a poll at regular intervals on LINE 1. On the client
side, is a PC with a special App that has to sit there with no keyboard
input by the user. When the App is started it activates the comm port and
market data pages get displayed with no keyboard intervention. This does
not work unless I hit a key which triggers the reverse telnet session back
to the host router (2511). On the client side is a 2509, both routers are
12.0(14), I believe. I followed the white paper on the web site, Tunnelling
Async over Serial. Has anyone tried this? I can post configs if necessary.
