Hi,
There's an excellent company in Denmark that has a 10 day CCIE prep.
training lab. The company specializes on Cisco training only. They have 4
CCIE's and a huge amount of routers and switches. Almost every CCIE in
Denmark have taken their so called "CAW" course. I'm going there my self in
5 days. (perfect since my lab date is the 30th of January). I bet a lot of
CCIE's in Norway and Sweden knows them too, since they operate there as
well. (I even thinnk they do some courses in the UK too sometimes). If
non-danes are present the training will be conducted in english. As far as I
know each participant gets his/her own complete setup. One of the
instructors told me earlier that we would even get an access pass so we
could come and go in the lab at all hours of the day or even during the
weekends.
All in all I look forward to trying this. Several of my collegues tell me
its the best training they had before they took their CCIE.
It's nok cheap though. In danish kroner it's 44,000.00. That's like 7,000.00
dollars or so. (rouch estimate). Add living expenses plus the ticket and it
gets very expensive.
The company is called Horizon. Their website is http://www.horizon.dk. When
there, click on custom courses and then CAW.
And no.. I don't work for them although I speak very highly of them. I've
attended quite a few Cisco courses held by them so I know the instructors
and they are very skilled indeed.
Good hunting and good luck with the final lab!
Later,
Jesper Revald

Emne: What about us poor guys in the UK
It seems you boys/girls in the U.S have access to the best promoted labs.
Does
anyone know of an equivalent in the U.K. or Europe?
On the other hand with the travel industry still in a poor state, it may be
cheaper to fly over there anyhow?
