Multicast problem on tokenring int

Hi,

I am trying to do some multicast practice lab.
But could not get going as the basic is not working.

I configured the following on a router.

R1

ip multicast-routing

on int E0,

ip pim sparse-dense mode
ip igmp join-group 224.1.1.1

I ping 224.1.1.1 from R1 it pings, no problem.

If I do the same configuration on a Tokenring interface, I can not ping.
Anybody has experienced this problem?
I have no idea why the it works with Ethernet and not work with Tokenring
interface.
I tried many times and same result.
