Once my AS2509 Terminal Server had the same problem that you described. I
though it must have something to do with the Console Line or my Terminal
Emulation, but at the end it was just the IOS that was hung up right after
boot. Erasing the Config in boot mode solved the problem.

I totally agree, at first i thought that it was my 2500 router, but upon
using different terminal applications, i could issue the Ctrl+Break key.
E.g. using Terra Term it did not work, switched to Hyperterm and voila!

Well, i had same problem. but i found the problem with the terminal
application. I tried with other pc, and without any problem it worked.

Well, i dont have any idea what's ur problem, i just wanted to share my
