I glanced through the book and found that there were a few conventions that
were useful to know. Other than that if you have experience designing
networks and you have passed your CCIE written you should be ok. I spent a
total of about 2 hours in the book and passed with a less-than-comfortable
margin, but I was having trouble staying awake. I have heard people say
that it is harder than the CCIE written and that is crap, unless you have no
idea what goes into planning a network. I will say that the format of the
test is somewhat of a change-up. It doesn't look like the rest of the Cisco
exams that I have taken. It is longer and requires more focus on reading
comprehension. Let me know how it goes.

This is OT, but I'm taking the CCDP test (CID)
tomorrow without any preparation or ever studying for
it.
The company I work for is rushing for Specialization
quilification and need my DP cert urgently. For many
CCDP's here on the list, do you think that's passable?
As a CCIE candidate, I think probably I can just get
by without too much trouble.
