Dear ALL,
Just got a 3Com TR Switch but cannot figure out what is the token ring
adapter cable. I suspect it is a clossover since in adapter mode the
switch can directly connect with tr hub but cannot connect with token ring
adapter (neither from router nor pc). In hub mode, the case reverse. I
have tried seraching in the net and 3Com site but with no hope to solve
it. Search through the past mail even make me confused. Someone suggests
the RJ45 pin-out for token ring is 3,4,5,6 but some says it is 1,2,4,5.
>From TR FAQ, it should be 3-4-5-6 but I also tried with clossover 5-6-3-4
and 4-3-6-5 but still cannot solve it. Would anyone suggest possible
pin-out for tr clossover or adapter cable?
