Hello Group,

Just wanted to share my lab experience at Sydney on the 19th. I have to say
that I'm dissappointed, and I need to get it out of my system so I can go
back and hit the racks.

As for the facility, I would say it was top notch and I'm really impressed
by it, I have no complaints there. Dedicated room for the exam, with racks
and PCs for you to start working straight away.

As for the exam itself, I'm not happy with myself that I failed since I
could do every question and did do every question, but couldn't get 3 things
working after I configured it which probably costed me the exam. No partial
credit, and only 20 marks to spare so there isn't any room for error.

On the bright side, I can't believe how fast I can configure some of the
topics. I knew that speed was going to be a critical factor for the 1 day
lab, and I made sure that I was fast. I think I probably took 6 hours to do
the exam and did 2 hours worth of testing, but my testing was focused on a
couple of things I couldn't get working and didn't allow me to fully test
ALL areas.

Not too sure what to do now, going to write up a study plan and go for it
again.

Anyone with any suggestions would be great.

Albert
