Donwloaded mzmaker from
http://www.mcseco-op.com/mzmaker.htm
unzipped the file to compress IOS images.
Problem is can not succesfully compress and image.
When the msmaker program file is executed an md dos looking display results
with syntax description as such:
mzmaker <source image> <output mx image>
Example: mzmaker igs10317.bin igs10317.mz
I interpretate that as an entry at windows DOs screen that should be like
this:
mzmaker c2500-js56i-l.121-9 c2500-js56i-l.121-9.mz
But this fails.
So then I try this:
mzmaker c2500-js56i-l.121-9.bin c2500-js56i-l.121-9.mz
This also fails. After pressing the <enter> key at the end of the above two
lines the result is:
MxMaker V1.0 - Cisco OS image compressor [by PCL]
Examining source image file...Length 0x00000000, Checksum 0x00000000
Compressing flash image...
zip error: Nothing to do! (ios-mz-zip)
D:\mzmaker>(ios-mz.zip)
No image is compressed. What is missing? Thank you for the support.
