Have you tried playing round with the text settings
Also changing the rollover cable might bring you some luck

All,

Thanks for your reply. I can not access to the router either through
console
or through aux. I have tried to different com speed from 110 to 115200 for
both console and aux. It did not work. I also have the ethernet port
connected to another Cisco router, I did show cdp neighbor on the other
router, I can not find the problem router.

Again the syndrome:

The router works fine yesterday. Today, when I have it booted and telneted
on it, everything seems to be fine. However when I try to connected it
using the console port, nothing shows up on my screen. Therefore I telneted
onto it again and did erase start and reload, after that, I lost everthing.
I tried different berak sequences, none of them is working.

I keep power if off and on and tried the return key, nothing shows up on
console port. However, everytime I power it up, I can see a "p" using the
aux port. I did the same thing to other working router, I saw an "o" on the
aux port.

Hi Basel, can you please let me know how to do auto-install on the router?
It is a Cisco 2507 8M/8M.

Thanks all for your help!

Hans
