Dan - the 2509 will run ANY 2500-series image. And all your lines will show
up in it.
The TAC will assume you're using the standard license that is delivered on
the termservers, which is the IP-commserv image. However, I (out of
neccessity) upgraded it to 16/16 and loaded Enterprise on mine so I can use
it as both a terminal server AND a router.
I have not had the experience of my async lines disappearing on my 2511 from
using different versions of code. I'd suggest you try it with 12.0(20)
IP/IPX and see if your results change.
