Perhaps a trivial one for some ....
In IGRP, RIP, and others I expect, there are times when you do a show ip
route x.x.x.x and when looking at the output you get 'self originated'
What causes 'self-originated' routes
Why are they specifically labeled
Do they have any specific behavioural properties.
Had a look in the archives and there was nothing I could find to define them
