The things to remember are these:
Create a Virtual Bridge (trbrf)
Create a virtual Ring (trcrf)
Assign Physical ports to the rings you created
Assign IP address and enable IP by selecting Boot P when needed
**VERY IMPORTANT**
Ring numbers and Bridge numbers are entered into the switch in HEX, so make
sure you convert the decimal number to HEX before you enter it into the
switch.

There are several sections there, but the VLAN tutorial is very straight
forward and helpful.
I have never seen or worked on one of these switches either. On my first lab
attempt I didn't know how to configure the switch correctly, on my 2nd
attempt I managed to do what was required.
