Hello All,
I am running 2500 IOS v12.2 Enterprise Edition with IPSec, Firewall
(c2500-jk8os-l.122-1a.bin). There seems to be a bug with this release.
Everytime you issue the BGP command 'Neighbor 152.1.1.1 default-originate'
where 152.1.1.1 is an EBGP or IBGP peer, the router crashes/reboots. This
happens on all my 2500 series routers (all 7 routers) so I can confidently
conclude it is not a hardware problem. This does not happen on v12.0(16)
IOS Enterprise Edition. I don't have any other IOS version 12.xx so I can
not try it on those images.
Has anybody else encountered this problem. If you have version 12.1, I
would appreciate it if you could try this command and see if it crashes.
Let me know what your results are.
