Yes. The Cisco Ubr 924 is a combination modem and router. If I could
afford cable modem service, I would love to use one. It's not that strange
that a tech support person would not know that it is a combo router-modem.
There aren't many devices out there like it, and these guys usually have
their hands full just trying to make things work with the equipment the
Cabke company supplies.

I had a Cable modem service (business service) salesman tell me that the
Cisco equipment was not holding up well, or something like that. Does
anyone know of serious problems with the Cisco UBRs?
