Hi,
   This is the problem that i was also facing. I thought that my link will
establish without "ppp authentication ___ " but it dont. So u need to
configure authentication for the routers to ping each other.

I tried everything like static routes on both sides but didnt work.
In the current condition the router will send the packets to remote router
but the remote router dont know how to return the packet and keep failing
the encap.

You also need a dialer-list on R6 to define interesting traffic.
