Bought one through a major reseller anyone can use, their commercials are on
national TV. I paid around $2K for the chassis with a PRI interface, the PRI
interface is standard. I then needed to purchase the 4 port BRI card for an
additional $800? You can also purchase a card to provide async tone for aux
modem DDR. I think I did the whole deal for less than $3000?

The unit has four modular ports and the PRI does not take up one of them. If
someone is interested in more details e-mail me offline and we can discuss.

It is a little more expensive than and Emutel or Teltone, but it has PRI and
4 BRI ports. Cheaper per port overall. The 550 is also the little brother of
the Atlas 800 used in the lab and it can do a lot more than just ISDN
simulation.

Yup I saw this product on the Packet magazine and I thought about buying it
but I can't find the price on this. Would you happen to know. I know its
modular so cost varies but just as a brief cost would you know. This also
emulates ATM and a lot of other too right. Thanks ED.

Doubt you will find one on ebay that will do a PRI. The best product to get
is an Adtran Atlas 550. This has 2 PRI and 4 BRI.
