And there's an intelligent assessment of anyone's abilities... So if I
send
you a resume showing that I have my MCP, CNA and CCNA all together, I'd
be
worth lots, huh? I mean, forget about the MCSE, CNE, CCNP, CCIE stuff
as we
know they're overrated anyway...

*sigh*

To support your clients with any sort of ability that you have the
concept
of how to gauge and measure anyway, I'd suggest finding a recruiter with
technical knowledge. Otherwise, you are resigned to provide mediocre
service to your mediocre clientele with mediocre expectations anyway...
but
hey, if that's what you are really working for anyway, then
congratulations!
You've achieved your goal!

As for the eyes of the industry, from my experience (thankfully) they
don't
see through the same hued glasses that you seem to.

I think that as of late the CCIE certification has become worthless in
the eyes of the industry. In view of providing my clients with best
possible service and support I would rather hire MCPs, CNAs, and CCNAs
any time.

I've noticed that the rate of new CCIE #### posts on the list have
dropped
dramatically compared to the last month.

This must tell something to the lucky people who got their number before
Oct.
1st. with the easy two-day format.
