Try to repartition the flash. If it will let you do this then the flash
should show it is all read write, and you should be able to continue your
upgrade.
If you can't do that try to erase the partition that is not read only, after
that try repartitioning the flash again. If this works then you should be
able to finish your upgrade. Once you get the flash into one partition
you'll be set. I wouldn't reboot during this whole episode though or you'll
be in (boot) mode. Good luck. Sorry my answer isn't too technical, but I've
screwed around with this issue numerous times. Most of the time I am taking
some flash from another router that had an image on it.
