Over a year? I took it 3 times from January to April this year. I took it
twice in San Jose which is the 2nd busiest location. Saying the wait list
is 1 year is pure hogwash. If a company needs someone to take it within a
few months I know that most of the Asia locations and even Sydney frequently
has spots within 2-3 months. I took my first attempt in Singapore and had
my 2nd attempt schedule for Seoul. I live 45 miles from San Jose, but I was
willing to do what it takes to get the lab done without waiting too long. I
paid for everything out of my own pocket. So I don't want to hear excuses.
I used other locations and lab swaps to get my date. All this crying about
the wait list is ridiculous. If they would make the written test a little
harder and cut down the huge number of people qualifying for the lab we
wouldn't have this problem. We wouldn't have unqualified people wasting lab
seats. I was told by a proctor that roughly 1500 people pass the written
each month. The problem starts there.
