This message was not sent on time for some reason, so I thought I'd re-send
it ... sorry for the lateness !!
=============================================
Unbelievable is all I can say ... out of 6 people starting on a Saturday (28
July), I was the only one left standing on Sunday, and even then I still
cannot believe I made it ... of course, part of the job of the proctor is to
pressure you, and mine did that well ... I was completely caught off guard
after final grading (as many of you probably are after reading some of my
earlier postings!!) but once through I was told I did well ... I think
anyone that makes it through has done well, myself ...
Well, there is more to the lab than can be imagined except by those who have
travelled the path ... two of my fellow testers, first-timers both, were in
jaw-dropped befundlement at lunch Day 1 ... and I know that feeling as well
... the typical study paths were followed, Halabi, Doyle I & II, CCbootcamp
labs (extra thanks there, Marc), this list!! , and countless hours at the
rack(s) both real and Vlabs, and reading every stinking design and
configuration guide on CCO and the Doc CD ... an extra special thanks to
Phizzog and an unnamed but very kewl friend ("Southwest?"), beers to ya!!
and of course, though she will not read this, my wife deserves the most
appreciation, for she paid the price for my mental absence and toughed it
out ... and she gets the highest reward (my paycheck!) ...
Now to reaquaint myself with family, friends and job, and off to the next
challenge!
