May be you want to try to put a console cable from an AUX port of another
router into the console of the "dead" one. After, just reverse telnet on
the AUX port of the router and see what happens. This way, you'll be sure
that the problem is not comming from the hyperterm or whatever terminal
software you could be using..

Ahmed,
(1) Do you get the same results when you plug into the Aux ports?
(2) From a connected router, can you get an IP address to telnet into
from
"show cdp neighbor detail"?
(3) Can you break out of the boot sequence?
If none of these are helpful on any of the 3 routers, I'd think you have
the
wrong cable, are plugged into the wrong COM1 port on your PC, or have
the
HyperTerm settings wrong. Can you use this cable and HyperTerm on any
other
routers successfully?
