Subject: OSPF into ISIS
Group,
I am trying to redistribute from OSPF into ISIS and I am running into
problems.
Here is the scenario,
I have two routers that are passing routes back and forth using ISIS (R1
and R2). This is working fine.
R1 is also running OSPF and I need the routes to show up on R2 by
redistributing them into ISIS. The two routers are configured as Level-1
routers and the redistributed routes are supposed to be injected as
Level-2. When I inject them as Level-1 they show up in R2's routing
table but when they are injected as level-2 they do not.
I know that Level-1 and Level-2 routes do not mix but I cannot figure
out how to change the routes to Level-1 once they are passed to R2.
Please help.
Thanks,
Mike Walther
