This is yet another argument against the one day lab, where you won't get
live feedback, and won't be able to defend yourself...

Sighhhh...

I guess I get my turn to write this email.

Instead of how I prepared, I'd like to share my nightmare with you.

I left day one feeling very confident and mad that I had let 6 points
slip though my fingers. Never try to change something big in the last
10 minutes.

On day two I was greeted with the fact I had not passed day one. WHAT!!
I nailed day one, except for what I knew I missed and there was no way I
missed going on to day two. Anyway, I resigned myself to having failed
and the proctor started going over what I missed. I kept saying "I
can't imagine what I did wrong." Finally, the proctor said, "well,
let's look at it" and we did and it was correct. He said "ping", I did
and it worked. Hmmm something isn't right here. Every one of the
"missed" objectives seems to be working and correct. (of course I
already knew this, as it was all tested and working the day before. I
did miss a couple of things I thought I had done successfully) 1 1/2
hours of discussion and I was handed a day two binder.

The rest is history, I passed. I wonder how many CCIE's can claim
failing and passing the same lab all in one day?

I'm pretty sure I know what happened. I'm not convienced this wasn't
part of the test, so I'll omit the details.

I'd like to thank my wife for the support and motivational assistance
(pass or die). Thanks to everyone on the list for your input and
questions. It really helped me in my studies.
