For 1600 & 3600 routers (which the flash is on a filesystem),
you can either configure:
no partition flash-filesystem (filesystem: flash,slot0,slot1)
or
partition flash-filesystem:1 (number after the colon indicates
the number of partitions to be
used)
For all other class b type routers:
partition flash 1
or
no partition flash
Note: ensure that the configed IOS file does not
overlap from one partition to the other.
Otherwise the two partitions will remain
split.
Hope this helps.
