SNMP/ASN.1/BER "CHOICE" Encoding

Why does a Sniffer trace show the SNMP PDU type as A0, A1, A2, ... to indicate
the packet type (get-req, get-nxt-req, set-req, ...) instead of as 0, 1, 2,
.... ??? Refer to "TCP/IP Illustrated Vol.1", -W.R.Stevens, fig. 25.3, p.362.

RFC1157, sect. 4, "Protocol Specification" indicates that it is a "CHOICE". The
A = 1010 indicates a tag of 10 = Context specific, and a type = 1 =
Constructed, but "CHOICE does not have a code". Refer to "Computer Networks,
Third Edition", A.S.Tanenbaum, fig. 7-33, p.637.
