Local pref is within an AS.
MED is between adjacent ASs.
AS path tools are between many ASs.
AS path length of sub ASs in a confederation AS consist of many sub-ASs
does not effect any path decision. Decisions made between confed EBGP
versus IBGP, IGP verses IBGP, and router ID (lowest).
Any comments on these?
