Erik,

I disagree with this - if you run ISIS over ATM (which is NBMA on the major
interface), then it works OK. I am sure that you need to have a layer 2
mapping to CLNS for this to work.

                IS-IS doesn't work over NBMA.
                You need p2p subinterfaces or a full mesh over Frame Relay.
                Same goes for NLSP.
