I have encountered the same issue as all of you when I have configured NLSP.

I have also tried using the distribute-sap-list command under the NLSP
protocol to try to filter the SAP's out of the NLSP updates with no luck.

Taz & Jason,

I have the same problem w/ NLSP (and filtering routes too!). But rip/sap
compatibility mode is switched to OFF once NLSP is enabled. Do a "show ipx
interface ____" and at the very bottom, you will see that the NLSP enabled
interface is switched OFF for both RIP & SAP. Also, you can validate this
condition by doing a "debug ipx routing event".
