This procedure worked for me EXCEPT

"When the OK and LAN LEDs blink off (after about 15 seconds), release the
DEFAULT button. "

I found that a BRIEF (one sec push and release) button push worked for me.
The 'hold down the DEFAULT button for approximately 15 seconds' method
didn't work on my 516. This came after an hour or so of frustration,
including a TAC case. However, your mileage may vary. :)

Maybe this is a difference in Bootstrap Code levels? I'm curious as to which
method works for you. Here's my 516's 'stats' for the record:
