RIP question

If you have the following setup:

Loopback(10.0.2.1/24)routerA(10.0.0.1/30)-------------------(10.0.0.2/30)rou
terB

As we all know running RIPv1 between the two you cannot ping 10.0.2.1 from
routerB('cause the mask is longer). What would be the correct solution to
make this happen? I have a couple:

1. Put a static route 10.0.2.0 255.255.255.0 10.0.0.1 (on routerA)
2. Put a static route 10.0.2.0 255.255.255.252 loopback 0 and redistribute
connected on routerB. This will add the 10.0.2.0 route to routerA routing
table via RIP.

Note however that if you do step 2 above but route via null0, this will not
work as the more specific route (10.0.2.0/30) over-rides the /24 and the
packets are discarded. Anyone know other ways to do this?

Regards.
