Finally!! I passed yesterday in San Jose. It was my second attempt. It
feels good to be finished with this. Now I can relax a bit and get to know my
family again. It feels wierd to get out of bed and not have to study for 8
hours.
The materials I used were the same as everyone else. Tons of practice lab
time. For the last few weeks, I have been doing the bootcamp labs as speed
drills. It helped to boost my confidence alot.
I drove to San Jose with my wife and my 10-month old son. I figured they're
my good luck charms, so why not have them with me. It worked.
I sat in my hotel room all day on Friday and practiced. My friend set up his
lab so I could telnet to it and practice all day. ( That was a very cool
thing to do. Thanks, Bernard! ).
The test was brutal. I felt pretty confident most of the time, but at the
same time, I felt like I didn't have a chance. The proctors were great. I
had tons of questions, and they were very professional the whole time.
The waiting was torture. I spent all of the waiting time second guessing
myself and counting points. I'm glad its over. Good luck to everyone.
