Hi Louie,
Not wanting to be smartass but....have you considered the 'dynamic'
keyword. Check out page 3-19 in the DLSW design guide.

Subject: DLSW question from CCbootcamp lab 19

All,

In lab 19 Task Two (Advanced DLSW Configuration), question number 5 states
the following:

Configure R6 for DLSW, configure a static resource for MAC address
4444.3333.2222. R2 is the only router that should have a DLSW connection to
R6
Make sure that this connection is dynamic and only comes up if there is an
explorer destined for 4444.3333.2222....

Here is what I did:

R6 (config):

dlsw local-peer peer-id 140.4.6.1 promiscuous
dlsw icanreach mac-exclusive
dlsw icanreach mac-address 4444.3333.2222 mask ffff.ffff.ffff

R2 (config):

dlsw local-peer peer-id 140.4.2.1
dlsw remote-peer 0 tcp 140.4.6.1

The problem is that the (show dlsw peers) command on R2 shows (CONNECT ALL
THE TIME), What am I missing??????????

TCP 140.4.6.1 CONNECT 43 43 conf 0 0 0
00:18:03

I am not sure what to do to make this a dynamic connection that comes up
only if needed (Per question).

Any help is appreciated....
