Auto RP :

I am trying to configure Auto RP in a FR mesh.

r1-----------------------------r2--------------------------r3

r2 is my hub router. I have loop back configured in all the routers and i
have an ip connectivity between all these routers. I have configured r3
as my auto rp. using

at r3:
ip pim send-rp-announce loop back 0 scope 16
ip pim sparse-mode

r2:
ip pim sparse mode
ip pim nbma mode

r1:
ip pim sparse-mode
ip igmp join-gr 224.0.0.10

and configured r1 to join the multicast group .. say 224.0.0.10

Q1: is that all needed to configure ? auto-rp .. I am able to ping this
multicast group .. Just wanted to confirm.

Q2: I have added ip pim nbma mode on the hub router. Is this configuration
necessary ? I am able to ping my m-cast even without that.. Doc CD says to
use a ip pim nbma mode. I am not sure if I need to add this command in all
the NBMA interfaces.

Some one who tried to configure the auto rp in nmba network can please help
me to confirm that I am doing the right procedure.

TIA
Jay.
