David Look in archives. Brian Dennis had posted an excellent email on this
issue. ISIS does not work on multipoint WAN interfaces. To make it work, for
example frame multipoint of physical interface, do " frame map clns 102 br
".

Does anyone have any suggestions on the probably cause for an ISIS
"encap failed" error during "debug isis adjecency" ?

The ISIS connection is trying to send IIH packets over a frame relay
network. There is IP connectivity over the frame network as I can ping
the other side.

Any help would be appreciated!
