the reason your Banyan servers are disappearing is that admins are finally
getting around to replacing them with Novell, or more likely Wintel servers.
something about the company going under a few years back.

HI. I have been losing Banyan Servers in my Environment. I use Cisco
Routers everywhere. The Banyan server are 5.5x. When I lose a Server the

way I can get it back is to recompute the routing table. This fixes the
problem but also boots off users from the segment where I recomputed the
routing. Also, after I make the change some other Banyan segment gets lost
after 24hrs or so. This is an ongoing pattern. Has anyone seen this problem?
Any suggestions?
