rule number one - do what the lab book tells you to do. If the lab scenario
instructs you to use no loopbacks, then you do something else. if the lab
book instructs you to use a particular addressing scheme for your loopbacks,
then follow instructions.

rule number two - if the lab book does not give a specific instruction in
this regard, have a couple of alternative schemes in mind, and ask the
proctor if you can use one of the other.

In my ( somewhat limited ) lab experience, the scenario was pretty straight
forward and pretty detailed.

Subject: Lab Strategy - OSPF Router-ID

Is it recommended strategy to manually set a router-id for
each ospf particpating router on the lab, or let
the highest ip decide?
TIA
