OK....OK...The ospf /30 to rip /24 with 12.0.7T has been beaten to death,
but I am having a slightly different issue:
---ospf--(/26 serial and /30 isdn)---R1----rip--/24-----
I summarized both the /26 and /30 and then did a " redistribure connected
subnets route-map connected" under ospf.
Route-map connected
mat ip add 1
access-list 1 permit x.x.x.x /24 (i had to permit the /26 summary, the /30
summary, and the connected rip /24 (to get that route into ospf)
Everything looked great, all routes made it to rip, ospf had all rip routes
etc. The only thing is that every so often the demand circuit, which is
directly connected would just go up by itself. It would sometimes go up
immediatly after it drops and sometimes it could take up to 10 minutes for
it to go up. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this
issue? Thanks in advance, justin
