Nope, there's no new command. The 'problem' is that RFC 1195 only defines
two basic network types: broadcast nets and point-to-point nets. So, really
you should use point-to-point subinterfaces for nbma.
Note that I said 'should' ! It is possible on Cisco routers to use mapping
statements for clns to simulate a broadcast network.
For example,to do this you could use 'frame-relay map clns <dlci> broadcast'
statements for frame-relay. The clns is necessary because of course even
Integrated IS-IS uses clns pdus, not IP packets. Also, if you do decide to
that make sure that both ends are configured the same way because the map
statement causes LAN (broadcast net) L1/L2 or both (depending on the circuit
type) hello PDUs to be sent, whereas a point-to-point subint. causes PTP
(serial) hellos to be sent.
