David,

I have come across exactly the same thing. I stopped
the far end from initiating a call be tying down th
dialer-list access-list. I was always under the
impression that if you didn't want the far end to make
a call just leave out the dialer string. Could it be
that 12.0 code does it a little differently to 11
code. i am pretty sure that with 11 code on 1603s you
don't need the renote dialer string in it for it to
work. Does anyone know??
